Upper Booth Farm-Best Camping Site Away From Home

By on October 16, 2015

Camping is fun but it will be more enjoyable if you are in the right campsite and you are with the people you care about. Are you looking for an amazing, beautiful, and serene place to camp? Upper Booth Farm makes a perfect choice for a camping site. Whether you are camping with some friends or loved ones, you will surely be amazed at what this place has to offer.  Here is why.

Booth Farm

As part of the Pennine Way the site feels very much of the Peaks, with only the beautiful wooden toilet block giving away that this is a purpose built campsite. Set in a valley, the site’s gently sloping fields provide a perfect pitch yet boast views that wow. Thoughtfully the number of pitches is limited, so despite the location the atmosphere is maintained. The site rewards exploration, from wandering around the beautiful farm buildings and discovering the animals to striking out across the peaks on foot or bike it’s a location that can’t help to inspire. If you’re not planning on conquering the full Pennine Way, Upper Booth Farm still makes an ideal base for exploring the different aspects of the Peak District. Edale is a short walk away with pubs and cafes and the National Trust Information center there will set you on your way. If you have a car, it’s worth heading to Buxton and Bakewell for some beautiful urban day trips and despite the feeling of remoteness, there is a train station at Edale (2 miles) making this perfect slice of the peaks accessible to everyone.

Camping with lovedones in Upper Booth Farm will surely be a lot of fun. Interested? Read more about Upper Booth Farm at campr.co.uk
